The pulse of time

Now and then, I like to take trips away from my daily routines.

And when the familiar daily rhythm is broken, it is as if I fell into a different time zone; time seems to present itself in a slightly different pulse. At such moments, I often encountered a somewhat surreal state of mind- a strange but very welcoming flavor.

Time itself is constant enough from a physical standpoint, but it definitely tic at very varying rates from an emotional perspective. (Maybe this is why we are so attracted to the cinema where time is free to change its size and shape.)

In nature, time seems eternal in presence of boulders and rocks, but fleeting in presence of mists and clouds. Time seems very active and in-to-the-moment here in certain parts of Yellowstone.

These are beautiful pictures, Mike. Did you take ‘em? How many wonderful images are you hiding in your closet? Good thing, now you can BLOG THEM!

Thank you Sun! Yes, i took these images from a trip to Yellostone a while back. Glad you liked them :) i don’t really consider myself a serious photographer, but i do like to collect images more from a reference standpoint.

They are really beautiful. I can’t imagine how I would feel if I was standing there.
