There is always a need in me to retreat to the “Home” deep within the self, away from the outward world. I treasured simplicity, quietness, peaceful existence…; for these reasons, I’m in constant search for harmony toward the world around me, sometimes by means of stepping away from of its paths.
I came to Earth through Vietnam in year of the Cat, (in Chinese, it is the Rabbit), and so being more feline in spirit might have something to do with all these… My favorite animal is the snow leopard; it is very independent, recluse, elusive, avoid being seen, yet very much in touch with its surrounding. I sometime think I was one in my former life.
My primary interest is in all things alive and strives to share my thoughts by visual means, especially through the traditional animated filmmaking medium.
Currently, I’m putting all my efforts to the making of an independent feature entitled MY LITTLE WORLD at July Films. I also share my passions for this beautiful communicating medium at the California Institute of the Arts in the Character Animation Dept. to young aspiring artists.
Being one who response to life emotionally, I thought of Rainplace.
